Total Team Construction Offers Assistance with Flood Damage Restoration

August 25, 2008- Total Team Construction LLC (TTC) is offering assistance to residential and commercial property owners who experienced flood damage. The physical damage, emotional stress and financial hardship caused by the flooding have made the recovery process difficult. There are numerous options and agencies available, but the process itself can be complex. TTC is ready to lend a hand, simplify the process and help “get things back to normal”.

TTC’s flood restoration service not only includes the physical renovation and construction but also guides property owners through the entire process (FEMA, insurance, obtaining financing) from beginning to end, while providing emotional support along the way.

TTC has partnered with Project Recovery, a community based outreach program designed to meet the emotional needs of the survivors of the recent Wisconsin floods. The overall goal is to help individuals gain a better understanding of their current situation and reactions, assist in reviewing their options and encourage them to connect with other organizations and resources.

TTC also has contacts within the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBA recently established a Business Recovery Center to help businesses impacted by the severe flooding. The SBA is offering loans up to $2 million to businesses and non-profit organizations to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets. For small businesses and non-profit organizations of all sizes, the SBA offers Economic Injury Disaster Loans to help meet working capital needs, such as ongoing operating expenses. Economic Injury Disaster Loan assistance is available regardless of whether the business suffered any physical property damage. Interest rates can be as low as 4 percent for businesses with terms up to 30 years. Loan amounts and terms are set by the SBA and are based upon each applicant’s financial condition. The deadline to take advantage of these loans is September 15, 2008.
